The picture at the top is me in my 'junk room' which has to do for computing, music, hobbies as well as sleeping! On the left, sitting uncomfortably, at home in the sitting room at West Hampstead . On the right, trying to look formal.

                                               Bradford on Avon

This is the small town in Wiltshire, England, where I was born. The beehive shaped building is a chapel on the town bridge. It was used as a lock-up and my grandfather was imprisoned there for a night. My brother and I were very curious about what he had done wrong. 'Drunk!' snapped Mother - ('Yes... but what did he DO when he was drunk?' we wondered).

I am a scientist. My hobbies are mostly creative - playing music, composing music, photography, writing, constructing things, story-telling, gardening, cooking - and I like theatre, particularly opera and ballet, and enjoy conversation.

Can't say I care much for travel - am too lazy to cope with all the hassle. But I love meeting people from all parts of the world, provided they come to London!
